The College Readiness in the Common Core Era Forum focused on the critical areas required for students to not only graduate from high school and enroll in college but also to complete the rigorous coursework needed to graduate from college. It featured two panels of experts and educators addressing these key issues:
Is completing the UC/CSU A-G requirements (passing 15 required courses with at least a C grade for eligibility) enough?
Why are students from lower socio-economic areas enrolling in college in greater numbers but not necessarily completing college?
