Bob Nichols was a social studies teacher in the Campbell Union High School District for 38 years as well as serving on the Boards of Directors of both the National Education Association and the California Teachers Association. He was a member of the San Jose Mayor’s Education Task Force, the Santa Clara County Office of Education Blue Ribbon Task Force and was appointed by the Speaker of the California State Assembly to serve on the No Child Left Behind Implementation Advisory Committee. He received his BA and MA from San Jose State University and has also studied at the University of Washington.
