Partner and Tech Sector leader in PwC's M&A Advisory Practice
Marc Suidan is a Partner and Tech sector leader in PwC’s M&A Advisory practice. Marc is passionate about helping clients in delivering shareholder value through deals, including realizing new revenue generation and cost savings, while protecting core value. He has advised corporate and private equity clients on over 50 deals totaling more than $90 billion in M&A diligences, integrations and divestitures. He leads Operational Diligence, large scale M&A Integration and Business Transformation projects with a focus on benefits management and synergy realization.
• Diligence and integration leader of wireless networking carve-out company. Developed go-to-market and product development roadmap to accelerate revenue, resulting in cross-selling capabilities within 45 days of deal close. Oversaw the business process and systems integration, which absorbed the entire supply chain and quote to cash environments onto a common IT platform.
• Back office integration managed for leading software company’s $10 billion acquisition, resulting in accelerated 6 month merger. Project involved defining and executing an accelerated integration plan, coordinating the project management office and related tools and templates, identifying and prioritizing key value drivers. Cross-selling activities were enabled within 45 days of deal close through interim manual processes and clear operating model guidelines.
• Performed operational diligence on a $700 million storage management carve out. Developed the transition services agreement during diligence, and led announcement communications. Upon deal close, onboarded 900 employees across 12 countries, and launched a combined offering within 2 weeks. Enabled cross-selling and fulfilment within first quarter, and integrated all systems to exit TSAs within 12 months.
Prior to PwC, Marc was a member of McKinsey’s Technology Accelerator practice. He has built businesses from the ground up and has co-founded and sold two internet ventures. He frequently publishes papers on M&A in the Technology sector, is a regular speaker at conferences, and organizes round table events for Corporate Development Integration leaders. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Management in Accounting and Finance from McGill University. Marc is also a licensed CPA in Canada. Marc is an advocate of community services and regularly volunteers for youth education. He sits on the development committee of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation. He has worked in Venture Philanthropy launching education and health focused initiatives and is now publishing a paper on the benefits of technology in education.
