Patty Hatter is the Vice President and General Manager, Intel Security and Software Group IT and CIO, Intel Security Group for Intel Corporation, an American multinational corporation headquartered in Santa Clara, California. A duel-role leader, Ms. Hatter has led an aggressive, transformational effort that drives enhanced IT and Information and software security effectiveness and scalability across a global organization. Hatter applies dynamic innovation while establishing strategic solutions to support sustainable IT Security operations and infrastructure. Her responsibilities are to drive and empower cross-functional partnerships that align to achieve real, bottom-line profitability and IT security. A key to Hatter’s success is vigorous employee engagement and global collaboration. Vision, passion, and a “can-do” mindset from her and her teams contribute to solidifying the organization’s effectiveness and ability to consistently deliver tangible IT and process solutions for the business.
Recognized as an agent for change, Hatter joined McAfee in late 2010 with extensive leadership experience in a wide-range of operations at Fortune 500 companies in the tech, telecommunications, financial services, and healthcare industries. She previously served as vice president of business operations at Cisco where she reported to the heads of operations and channels, drove tighter integration, and improved productivity and performance between Cisco and the channel partners. Prior to Cisco, Hatter worked more than 15 years at AT&T where she held executive positions in strategic planning, business development, and managing the professional services business unit within the United States and Europe.
Hatter holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University. She also attended executive education programs at Columbia University and Northwestern University. She resides in Northern California with her husband and son.
