NewsroomPosted on Fri, May. 04, 2007 Soluting A PioneerNvidia president and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang was honored Thursday night by the Silicon Valley Education Foundation at its annual Pioneers and Purpose gala at San Jose's Fairmont Hotel. "Jen-Hsun was a natural pick by our committee, as he has been so involved in the community and has had his kids attend public schools in San Jose," said Muhammed Chaudhry, executive director of the foundation, which strives to create partnerships between schools, business and non-profits. Huang and Nvidia co-founder Chris Malachowsky were the chairs of Second Harvest Food Bank's holiday food drive last year, and Nvidia has been a major sponsor of several other community fundraisers, including the Stars & Strikes bowling fundraiser held by Cadence Design Systems a couple of weeks ago.
