Silicon Valley Education Foundation and Entrepreneurs Foundation are excited to partner to bring you an interactive roundtable sharing effective models of corporate involvement in education. This event is part of the EF Education Initiative, current focus of the Quarterly Initiative program.
As corporate citizenship programs become more aligned with each company's core business, nearly all companies include education as a focus area. Corporate citizenship programs support education through a variety of community partners and signature programs, with in-kind donations, volunteer time, and financial support.
Although education is hugely rewarding to invest in as a company, it also has unique challenges for many corporate community programs. This roundtable is an opportunity to share solutions, as well as obstacles, to help all attendees engage effectively in education.
This roundtable is for representatives from companies both small and large, to learn, collaborate, and enhance their corporate citizenship, community involvement, philanthropy, and team building programs related to education. Please come prepared to share your thoughts, experiences, and insights. You are welcome to invite your colleagues and RSVP by August 2, 2010.
