As the largest education nonprofit in Silicon Valley, SV[e]F is committed to championing and delivering high-quality and equitable Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education to students furthest from access and opportunity. For over 25 years, we have directly served over 63,700 students and 4,000 teachers across 116 school districts. By offering programs like Elevate [Math], [Computer Science] Innovate, and the Eastside Education Initiative, SV[e]F equips students with the knowledge and confidence to pursue their dreams in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, ultimately contributing to a more diverse and capable 21st-century workforce.

SV[e]F leverages its deep partnerships with schools, districts, and educators to provide students with equitable access to high-quality educational programs. Driven by our vision of creating a just society where every student becomes a successful and productive adult, SV[e]F continuously scales our STEM programs and pilots relevant initiatives to bridge achievement gaps, unlocking the full potential of students who have limited career and economic opportunities due to educational disparities. Our annual fundraiser “DreamMakers ” raises critical funds to meet these needs of our youth most susceptible to systemic inequities. The Awards Luncheon celebrates our Teachers, Students, and College Mentors of the Year, in addition to our Corporate Partner of the Year.

Dr. Mae

Together We Create (TWC) is an artist collective that has been live painting at events in San Jose and Fresno, California since 2016. They serve the Bay Area by offering hands on experience in street art through live painting events in the community. TWC collaborates with some of the Bay Area's best muralists, graffiti artists, and fine artists to produce some of San Jose's most innovative murals right before your eyes. Part visual art, part performance art, spectators can't help but to be captivated by the transformation of an empty wall to a stunning and colorful masterpiece in just hours. As artists collectively complete their work, everyone is welcomed to watch, learn, and enjoy as these murals soon become backdrops for some unique photo opportunities.

TWC strives to not only expand professionally as artists, but to bring the same rigor to the youth by teaching them life skills that come from creating art in public events. They strive to empower the youth by teaching them self-confidence and problem-solving skills that only the art of graffiti has the power to evoke. Together We Create will be hosting our community building painting activity.
