Inspire and support students, especially first-generation students, in pursuit of post-secondary education by engaging them with your own career and college story.
Who: Professionals and current college students
What: 30 minute speaking session
Where: School sites across Santa Clara County
When: October 14 - 18 during school hours

College Day is a community-wide celebration that shows students from diverse backgrounds that going to college is possible. College Day activities and resources promote college readiness for elementary, middle, and high school students. Over 160 Santa Clara County schools participate; 54% of their students are low-income, and many will be the first in their families to go to college. 
Inspire underserved students by engaging them with your career and sharing how you use STEM in your job and your journey to college.
Who: Volunteer individually or in a team of 2-3
What: Run a 60-minute workshop
Where: Any of our 45+ Bay Area district partners
When: In June or July ~1 hour between 8:00 AM-12:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Elevate [Math] is a summer math intervention program for students who are below grade level standards. Elevate [Math] Plus uses project-based learning, previews next year’s curriculum, and develops college and career awareness. Contact us at justin@svefoundation.org
