We are excited to offer opportunities for your employees to inspire and mentor our students. There are several ways in which your company can provide enriching opportunities for our students while fostering the volunteer spirit of your employees.
As a key part of the Elevate [Math] summer program, inspire underserved students by engaging them with your career and sharing how you use STEM in your job, and about your journey to college. Choose to work with Elementary (3-5th Grade) or Middle and High School (6-10th Grade):
STEM Inspiration Workshops engage elementary students in a fun STEM activity. We want to get students involved in hands on learning and really love getting involved in an area of STEM.
Career Inspiration Workshops are aimed at older students in middle and high school and expose students to a STEM career and give students the chance to learn about the possibilities and opportunities a STEM career can create.
Thank you to our volunteers!
A team of volunteers from Nvidia led several self driving car Techsplorer workshops with Elevate [Math] plus classes this month. Nvidia engineers lead 8th grade students in a workshop where they created their own circuit boards, imagined they were the ‘brain’ of a self driving car and found out more about how the cars are able to drive around our streets safely. This has been a great opportunity to expose students to up and coming technology, and learn about a career in engineering.

in STEM education, preparing and inspiring talented learners to meet the challenges

Volunteering with 49ers STEM Leadership Institute is a great way to support STEM education in Silicon Valley. With a focus on developing leadership skills and creative thinking in our students, volunteers have the opportunity to share their own expertise and insights as students tackle different projects.
